The Club is open to members, their guests and reciprocals, check our calendar for the latest.  Wednesday and Friday are typically open for bar and meal service 5-8pm.  Mondays and Sundays are often open for games by the fire with friends in the winter or drinks on the deck in the summer.  Our wonderful chef paired with the best view of Friday Harbor from our infinity deck makes it a wonderful experience anytime.

The Club is very active and has a full calendar of cruises and social events through the year. We have many cruises throughout the Gulf Islands, Barkley Sound and Alaska. Members also cruise together to exotic locations.

The San Juan Island Yacht Club (SJIYC) is organized to encourage and support all forms of boating in the Pacific Northwest, to bring our nearly 400 members together to build friendships, share matters of common interest, and to promote safe and enjoyable boating.  Boat ownership is not a membership requirement.

We sponsor 8 or more cruises each year along with the Shaw Island Classic sailboat race, numerous social functions, educational programs, and San Juan Island’s Opening Day celebration of a “Community Afloat”.  Our members cruise as far north as Glacier Bay and south to the Gulf of California.
