The San Juan Island Yacht Club (SJIYC) is organized to encourage and support all forms of boating in the Pacific Northwest, to bring our over 300 members together to build friendships, share matters of common interest, and to promote safe and enjoyable boating.  Boat ownership is not a membership requirement.

We sponsor 8 or more cruises each year along with the Shaw Island Classic sailboat race, numerous social functions, educational programs, and San Juan Island’s Opening Day celebration of a “Community Afloat”.  Our members cruise as far north as Glacier Bay and south to the Gulf of California.

The San Juan Island Yacht Club is located above the Port of Friday Harbor Marina.  Our clubhouse is open to members, their guests, and reciprocal Yacht Club Members.
